About Our Story
1994 – First Choice Auto Towing began when Rene Sales (pronounced “Ren”) started working out of a one bay home garage, the company starts as; Quality Trans & Automotive
1995 – Second year Ren rented a one bay commercial garage but was still a one man operation.
1996 – The company now employs two people predominately rebuilding transmissions.
1997 – Ren’s company merged with Attention to Detail, and relocated to Howell, New Jersey in a 3 bay facility. This is when First Choice Auto Inc. was established
1999 – The company purchases their first flatbed tow truck and started offering towing services, primarily to existing customers.
2005 – The company starts selling automobiles, purchases first enclosed trailer, and starts providing enclosed-trailer transport services.
2009 – The company continues to grow requiring more space. Decides to move to Toms River, New Jersey, and purchase a 5 bay facility
2013 – The company continues to see more demand for towing services and ads a second flatbed tow truck and starts offering roadside assistance.
2015 – With continued growth, Ren makes the decision to separate First Choice Auto Repair from the towing side of the business, and FCA Towing is launched.
First Choice Auto awarded best veteran owned business of 2017.
FCA participates in many community friendly activities like wounded Warrior Project and Providence House. Rene Sales serves as board member of the Battle Lab Association and member of the NJ Enlisted Soldiers Association
